When You Sleep
I received notice today that My Bloody Valentine will be in Chicago on September 27th. I thought the day would never come! There had been talks of a fourth album to follow-up their masterpiece Loveless, but we only received snippets of solo and non-MBV material as well as front man Kevin Shield's various collaborations. He contributed to the soundtrack for the movie "Lost in Translation", which for me was the only thing I liked about the movie, but I digress. The original MBV members will be in Chicago! Feedback be upon me!
I find nothing wrong with my plan to buy tickets to this show
* that purchase has already been made thanks to BFF's access to internet presale. We opted for mid-level tickets, close enough to be a part of the action, but far enough away to prevent any rushing of the stage by moi to molest Joey.

I was never a NKOTB fan, but somehow I thnik I am jealous.
Is Tiffany going to open for them? That would rock.
I'm really jealous of the My Bloody Valentine show and a tiny bit jealous of the NKOTB show. Are you wearing overalls and teasing your hair?
Sorry I won't be going to MBV... I was lucky to see them on the Loveless Tour (with Yo La Tengo & Buffalo Tom). If they are half as good as back then you'll have the time of your life. Bring ear plugs... they were the loudest band I have ever seen.
Classy's summer jams and cross-town classic discs are getting mad play in my ride right now, years later.
if you're not going to rush the stage to molest joey then why bother going at all?
go have a great time, but bring your ear plugs! i saw MBV back in the day in Detroit. (same tour that 5 of 9er caught) one of the loudest shows i ever saw and i forgot to bring protection.
